Springtime In Fontou

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted anything, I was pretty much dragged to the airplane to go to Orlando and then was soooooper busy at the cheer comp there!!
Anyways! I decided a good way to come back was to post my entry to a good friend of mines contest.

Now lets get to me criticizing my own work XD

I'm not really sure I like how Jaycee turned out....but you know what I do love? THE BACKGROUND! I  suck at background so I am pretty friggin proud of this! >~<
Oh and btw I drew this before you redesigned Mr.Tourista, though I wish I had waited! XP

Now to explain why I chose what I drew. The theme of the contest was your favorite part about Springtime. My favorite part about Spring is the fact that I get to go hiking and exploring and camping with my brother and dad. I love spending time with them and doing things outdoors that I don't get to do often. Thats why I chose this scene. Of course I chose to draw Jaycee (myself) and TOURISTA!!! And plus I thought it'd be perfect to put Tourista in an outdoors or scenic area :3 Oh yeah and of course the Shuffod my Tourista carries around
